In the footsteps of our ancestors…

Men and agriculture have transformed the Causses du Quercy for thousands of years. And for the last four or five centuries, sheep breeding was one of the dominant economical activities, due to the type of lands farmers had to work on : a mix of limestone meadows and forests of oaks and mapples.

When we settled at the Mas de Peyrelongue in 2018, we found the vestige of such an activity. Nothing occured during the last 20 years and nature had regains its rights over the entire domain. With respect for the History of this place and with our dreams in mind, we created our equestrian farm step by step.

Jeremy found out his great-grand-father was born in Camboulit, a village located 5 minutes only from our farm. His family was running the local stagecoach relay. Coincidence or sign of fate ? Nowadays, they are more than 30 horses living on 50 hectares of prairies and woodlands.

In 2023, the Mas de Peyrelongue has become a place for horse lovers to gather, live their passion and participate in local events. We give all our energy to promote equine welfare, build stronger bonds among the local population and turn our vision into reality.
