Program & itinerary

Day 1 (Saturday)

You will arrive at the Mas de Peyrelongue in the afternoon. If you asked for a transfer, Jeremy will pick you up at the airport or at the train station. When everyone has arrived, we will go for a walk around the fields to meet the horses and visit the farm. You might also want to enjoy a first swim in our large swimming pool ! We will then share a welcome drink and dinner all together in front of the sunset.

Day 2 (Sunday)

Breakfast at the Mas. You will then go for a first ride for about two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon. We will head up to the Puy Blanc ponds, a protected natural area that used to be an industrial clay manufacture during the 20th century. Lunch will be served as a picnic near the ponds. Once you got back to the farm, you will enjoy more time for relaxation. We will meet again for one of those dinner we are known for !

Day 3 (Monday)

Breakfast at the Mas. The South West of France is famous for being the largest wine region of the world. Let’s go for another full day ride towards our favorit wine dealer cellar, in the beautiful village of Camboulit. You will have the opportunity to taste three different local wines before a gourmet picnic with local produces. In the afternoon we will ride back to the farm for relaxation time. Dinner at the farm.

Day 4 (Tuesday)

Another full day ride after breakfast. This time, we will take you to the Célé Valley and the St James way. This is the secret gem of our area. Medieval villages and an outstanding natural setting will offer you long lasting memories. You will have lunch at the Espagnac priory while your horse will have a rest in the grass by the river. In the afternoon, your will ride on the edges of the cliffs to reach back home a few hours later. Last dinner at the farm.

Day 5 (Wednesday)

This is your last morning at the Mas de Peyrelongue. After another lovely breakfast, Jeremy will take you to the airport or the train station if needed. If you feel like staying a bit more, you also have the opportunity to stay one extra night with us and enjoy the area on your own. We will provide you with all informations and advices you need.

  • We speak french, english and spanish.

    Transfers are available on demand from/to Toulouse airport, Cahors and Figeac train station. Do you want to know how to get to us ? More infos here.

    If you have food allergies, special diets (we can provide vegetarian and vegan meals), or any medical issue that we need to be aware of, please let us know when booking.

    Extra nights are available on site. We can provide you with touristic information for you to continue your stay in our region. Feel free to have a look at our local tourism agency website.

  • All riders need to be confident at walk, trot and canter. We welcome riders from the age of 12, when they have sufficient riding abilities, and if accompanied only (12 to 18 years old).

    Weight limit : 90 Kg - 15 Stone

    Non-riding guests are also welcome at a reduced fare.

  • Our horses are equiped with english saddles, halters and/or single joint bits.

    You will be provided with saddlebags to store a bottle of water and your personal belongings. Helmets are available if needed, as well as back protections for young riders.

    Here is what you might need during your riding holiday with us :

    • riding trousers

    • boots and/or mini-chaps

    • long-sleeved shirt

    • light vest with pockets

    • rainwear

    • personal helmet (recommended - EN1384 standard)

    • foldable cap or hat

    • suntan lotion

    • swimsuit (for the swimming pool)

  • Our full board equestrian short break is a 5 days / 4 nights holiday with 3 riding days and time for relaxation.

    The rides, accomodation in our equestrian gîte with its large outdoor swimming pool, all meals and a wine tasting session are included in the price.

    Please bare in mind that shower room is shared with the 3 bedrooms. Toilets are separated.

  • Equestrian short break :

    For 1 guest (single room) : 970,00€

    For 2 guests (shared/double room) : 810,00€ / guest

    For non-riding guests :

    1 guest sharing double room : 520€

    Toulouse airport transfer : 50,00€ / way / person

    Cahors train station transfer : 30,00€ / way / person

    Figeac train station transfer : 10,00€ / way / person
